Liverpool Target Pens £300,000 Contract With Juventus

Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is on course to swap North London for Italy after putting pen to paper on a contract with Serie A champions Juventus.

According to The Times, the former Cardiff City player has signed a contract that will see him join Italian Serie A giants Juventus in the summer when his Arsenal deal expires.

It was revealed that Aaron Ramsey will earn at least £300,000 on a weekly basis to make him the highest paid British footballer in the world.

1996 Champions League winners Juventus have won the race to sign the Welsh international player ahead of other interested clubs including Premier League table toppers Liverpool.

The Reds were initially interested in signing the 28-year-old when it became obvious that Arsenal won’t offer him a new contract but their interest has cooled in the last few weeks.

As a matter of fact, the Reds’ interest could be traced back to last summer when Aaron Ramsey had one year left on his Gunners contract.

German champions Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Manchester United, AC Milan and many more were also keen to sign him.

Juventus have pulled off another free transfer signing from the Premier League after Emre Can join the Old Lady for free from Liverpool last summer.
