The absence of Alexis Sanchez gives Tahith Chong the opportunity to shine in US tour
English football club, Manchester United are currently in the US for a football tour.
With most key players absent from the games owing to the just concluded world cup, Jose Mourinho had complained about the three weeks break granted to them.
Another issue was about Chile international and former Arsenal striker, Alexis Sanchez, who was supposed to be in the squad but was denied a visa to the US.
The absence of Sanchez was felt in the US Tour as only Martial was the only striker on the field during the game.
Manchester United fans were already complaining of the inadequacies before Jose Mourinho decided to try a new initiative.
The Portugal international went on to bring a young player in the person of Dutch winger, Tahith Chong to the game.
Immediately, the young lad came on board the game changed and Chong won the heart of many Manchester United fans.
Joe Mourinho was impressed himself as he applauded the young player for his level of confidence.
Some fans went on to say Tahith Chong could be the new Cristiano Ronaldo as they urge Mourinho to give him a ten years contract.
In another update, Mourinho stated that should Sanchez make it for the US Tour he will play.
