Why Arsenal should be blamed if Ramsey leaves for free

Arsenal are now left sweating over star player, Aaron Ramsey as he is set to leave the Emirates Stadium without having a dime on him.

The player runs into his last year of his contract and has yet to agree to any deal with his employers.

Everything points to the fact that he is closer to the exit door.

Arsenal manager, Unai Emery is probably the greatest loser in this saga as he has made it clear that he wants Ramsey to stay having blended well with his newly introduced style.

Every arrow points to Arsenal as the cause of their problem should they lose Ramsey having agreed a £350,000 a week deal with Mesut Ozil in January.

It was expected that the same gesture be extended to a player as important as the Welshman who has done enough to earn a better deal.

However, another opportunity came as reported by Mirror for Arsenal to cash in £50m on the player but they turned it down from an unnamed club.

The fact that the club has hugely committed itself to Ozil makes it financially burdened to add more weights to its feathers, hence an attractive deal for Ramsey seems impossible.

Pundits have opined that it would be a positive loss for Arsenal to offer a deal as close as £300,000 a week to Ramsey so as to lure him into signing a deal other than losing him for free at the end of the season.
