English Premier League outfit Arsenal have been handed a big secret in their bid for Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez by club legend Emmanuel Petit.
The North London side have long been linked with the star player but a deal is yet to fall through at the moment with talks reported to be ongoing.
However the Gunners legend gives the hint that should his former side secure the signature of the Colombia international, he will be the perfect replacement for departing Wales international Aaron Ramsey.
Aaron Ramsey is known to be a very important member of the Gunners team and that has been confessed by the Gunners boss but he would be leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of the season after failing to agree on a new deal.
Emmanuel Petit stated that Aaron Ramsey would be a big miss for Arsenal, adding that the player has got more usefulness in the Premier League than in the Italian Serie A side.
However, the legend stressed that James Rodriguez would be the perfect man to handle the Gunners middle as he is bet in that position.
Meanwhile, talks are still ongoing with German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich wanting him to see out his 2-year loan deal before leaving the club.
