Arsenal join other EPL clubs to fight for next “Neymar”

North London side Arsenal are reported to have joined a host of English Premier League side to fight for the signature of young Brazilian Gabriel Barbosa.

Gabriel Barbosa is tipped to be the next big name that will be heard from the South American country and has been named as the next “Neymar” of the country.

The Brazilian international has been named Gabigoal because of his goal-scoring spree with his country club Santos and has topped the goal scorer chart in Brazil.

However, he is being linked with a move to Europe with a number of English Premier League clubs already fighting to have the star who is only 22 years of age join their club.

So far, Gabriel Barbosa has scored 2 goals in 38 games for hi side and that has attracted clubs like Everton, West Ham, Crystal Palace as well as the North London side.

A price tag of £18 million has been placed on the player but that according to feelers is not enough to scare suitors away knowing his quality and what he will be adding to their team when he eventually joins.

Should the Gunners eventually secure a top-four finish to qualify for the Champions League next year, suggestions are that they will be more favoured to have Gabriel Barbosa’s signature.
