Arsenal Lead Way For £40m Chelsea-Linked Player

North London giants Arsenal are leading the race to sign Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka according to reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.

The Sun claim that Arsenal are front-runners for the player ahead of other interested clubs like Manchester City and Chelsea.

It was revealed that Arsenal will have to spend at least £40m to prise him away from London rivals Crystal Palace when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, 21, has been one of the breakout stars of the current Premier League season after displacing Joel Ward as the first choice right-back at Selhurst Park.

He has played 25 Premier League games for Crystal Palace this season.

The England junior international is currently out injured after sustaining a hamstring injury in training ahead of the Leicester City game at the weekend.

Without him, the Eagles had no problems as they dispatched Leicester City 4-1 in front of their home fans.

Chelsea right-back Cesar Azpilicueta has been a wonderful servant at Stamford Bridge since joining the club from French giants Marseille but the Spaniard has not been at his best this season and Aaron Wan-Bissaka could be the man to replace him at Stamford Bridge if Chelsea manages to sign him ahead of Arsenal.
