Badnews! Arsenal keeper collapses in Serie A game

English Premier League outfit Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina is reported to have collapsed in Napoli’s game against Udinese in their Italian Serie A tie on Sunday.

The Columbia international stopper is currently on a loan deal with the Serie A outfit where he has continued his development and improvement in his game as well.

Arsenal loanee David Ospina was, therefore, rushed out of the stadium in a stretcher for further medical treatment before he later regained his consciousness.

The incident had occurred early in the game but had already conceded 2 goals before he was replaced by his second Alex Meret.

So far, David Ospina has made 21 appearances for Napoli and has recorded 4 lean sheets to put his team in second place behind Juventus.

Meanwhile, it was expected that David Ospina will return to the Emirates Stadium where he would be replacing legendary goalkeeper Petr Cech who is ready to hang his boot at the end of the season with an announcement already made.

However, the North London outfit will be left with no choice than to move in for another goalkeeper as it is not certain if David Ospina will return before the start of the season as a replacement for Petr Cech.
