Wales International football legend Ian Rush has been left baffled by the treatment of star player Gareth Bale at the Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid.
Gareth Bale has been unsettled at the Bernabeu especially with the second return of manager Zinedine Zidane at the club and that has sparked up speculations that he would be leaving as soon as the summer transfer window is opened.
However, the Wales legend has expressed concern over the treatment of Gareth Bale at the Spanish capital, insisting that the star player remains a big asset to the team and should not be treated in that manner.
According to him, records have shown how much Gareth Bale has contributed to the club and his incredible record with Los Blancos but that has not reflected in how he is being handled.
However, he expects the former Tottenham star to leave the Spanish club but noted that Real Madrid will not be able to dictate his next destination.
Meanwhile, the English Premier League outfit Man United are linked with the signature of the star player and it is speculated that a return to England for the Old Trafford remains a possibility but there has to be an assurance of European football.
