Struggling Premier League outfit Cardiff City are favourites to sign Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne ahead of the winter transfer window.

Welsh side Cardiff City are ahead of both Leicester City and Fulham in the race to sign England international Clyne.
The former Crystal Palace player has not been able to feature consistently for Liverpool like he would have liked this season.
He has made just five appearances for the Reds in all competitions this season including two starts and three substitute outings.
Nathaniel Clyne missed the majority of last season with injury and that subsequently led to him losing his spot in the Liverpool starting XI.
Young English fullback Trent Alexander-Arnold is the undisputed first choice right-back at Liverpool following his breakthrough campaign last season.
In the absence of Clyne, Alexander-Arnold played a key role in the Reds’ run to the Champions League final in the last campaign.
Liverpool surprisingly reached the final in Kiev last season by beating Italian Serie A side AS Roma on aggregate in the semifinals.
The Reds were beaten 3-1 in the final by Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid courtesy two goals from Welsh international star Gareth Bale.
