When Antonio Conte was Chelsea coach, Eden Hazard was not all that keen at staying at Stamford Bridge with Conte not really giving so much role like Sarri is doing.
In fact, had Antonio Conte remained as Chelsea manager, Eden Hazard would have left for Real Madrid.
However, the arrival of Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea made the 27-year-old change his decision by staying put at Chelsea.
So far this season, the Belgium international has done well for himself, finding the back of the net 8 times already.
But Hazard in a post-match statement after the win over Southampton at St Mary’s stadium made some disturbing comments.
He disclosed he still has the dream of joining Real Madrid.
This has raised concern among the Blues fans who don’t want the Belgium striker to leave.
However, there seems to be a hope in sight – Real Madrid are reportedly ready to sign a new coach to replace Julen Lopetegui, who is under intense pressure.
The report added that the Los Blancos have interest in Antonio Conte to take up the job since he has been out of service following his sack as Chelsea coach.
This latest development have raised questions on whether Eden Hazard will still be interested in joining Real Madrid if Conte becomes their coach.
