Chelsea could sell 26-year-old contract rebel to Liverpool – Sky Sports

Premier League giants Chelsea could do transfer business with Merseyside club Liverpool over the potential offload of contract rebel Thibaut Courtois, Sky Sports News football reporter Vinny O’Connor has suggested.

Liverpool eye Becker
The Merseysider’s have been frequently linked with a possible deal to land Roma shot stopper Alisson Becker this summer window.

However, AS Roma are believed to be reluctant to offload the Brazil international goalkeeper in the present transfer window.

Indeed, the Serie A side are requesting in excess of £80million for the shot-stopper, who started his playing career at Brazilian outfit Internacional.

As a result, the Reds could be forced to seek other options in the summer if Roma refuse to offload Alisson.

The Belgium international goalkeeper has one year left on his current contract at the west London outfit and has allegedly set his attention on a transfer to La Liga giants Real Madrid.

However, Real are believed to be interested in Roma safe hand Alisson if the Los Blancos can’t complete the signing of Manchester United safe hand David De Gea.

Liverpool turn attention to Chelsea star
The Chelsea goalkeeper could be forced to seek an alternative home with some reports claiming a Liverpool offer could be a possibility.

O’Connor suggested that the Belgian could join Liverpool if the FA Cup holders are ready to strike a transfer deal.
