£57m Signing Backs Chelsea To Return To Form

New Chelsea signing Christian Pulisic has backed the Blues to return to form after the latest set of disappointing results from manager Maurizio Sarri and his players.

Pulisic, 20, became the third most expensive player in the history of Chelsea after the West London giants paid £57.1m to secure his transfer from German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund during the just concluded winter transfer window.

The United States of America international will spent the rest of the season at Borussia Dortmund before joining Chelsea in the summer.

He spoke about his new club in a recent interview with popular English media outlet Sky Sports.

According to him, Chelsea have quality players and a good manager before adding that they will bounce back from recent results.

Chelsea and manager Maurizio Sarri are under the microscope after the Blues were thrashed 6-0 in their last league game.

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero was the star of the show as he netted a treble to give the Citizens a comprehensive victory.

Raheem Sterling also scored two goals while German international player Ilkay Gundogan was responsible for the other goal.

With the Manchester City result, Chelsea have now fired blank in their last three away games in the league conceding 12 goals in the process.
