Confirmed: Liverpool Target Will Leave Lille THIS Summer

Lille manager Christopher Galtier has confirmed that star player Nicolas Pepe will leave the club during this summer transfer window.

Galtier talked about the in-form Pepe shortly after he bagged two more goals in the league.

Lille thrashed Angers 5-0 in their penultimate game of the season in French Ligue 1 and the aforementioned Pepe was the star of the show once again.

It could be his last home game for Lille before his exit this summer.

Nicolas Pepe is one of the hottest properties in European football at the moment following his performances for Lille over the course of the last two seasons since his transfer from Angers.

He scored two goals against his former club on Saturday to take his goal tally to 22 league goals this term in addition to 11 assists.

After the Angers game, Christopher Galtier told reporters that Ivorian international Pepe will leave the club at the end of this season.

He’s attracting the interest of several European sides like Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Champions League finalists Liverpool.

The Reds have been mentioned as a possible transfer destination for Pepe but the Reds will have to contend with the previously mentioned clubs if they are to win the race to sign the 23-year-old.
