North London side Arsenal have been encouraged in their pursuit of Barcelona star Denis Suarez ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.
According to reports, the Gunners have been told that the player is available but they will have to pay the right price to have his signature.
Gunners boss Unai Emery is believed to have been impressed in the performance of the Barcelona midfielder and he is ready to pay as much as possible for his signature.
However, Arsenal stand a better chance because of the close relationship between Emery and Denis Suarez because they had worked together at the Spanish side Sevilla.
With Barcelona reported to have told the star player that he is ready to leave the club, the £45 million offer being prepared by the North London side is expected to go a long way in striking the deal ahead of Italian giants AC Milan who are also interested.
The decision by the Spanish side is informed by the fact Denis Suarez has not seen any La Liga game this season which makes him surplus to requirement.
Denis Suarez might just be the replacement for Wales international Aaron Ramsey who is expected to leave the club at the end of the season.
