Europa League finalists Chelsea will have to contend with the threat of Premier League rivals Manchester United in the quest to sign Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
According to BBC Sport journalist David Ornstein, Aaron Wan-Bissaka is one of several players targeted by the Red Devils this summer.
The young English defender was named the Crystal Palace Player of the Season following his impressive performances for the Eagles this season.
Chelsea were said to have targeted him as a long-term replacement for the ever-reliable Cesar Azpilicueta.
David Ornstein revealed that Manchester United want to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka and two other players namely Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
Jadon Sancho has light up match venues in the German Bundesliga this season and English clubs like Chelsea and Manchester United are keen to bring him back to England this summer.
The 19-year-old had earlier left Premier League champions Manchester City for Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
David Ornstein revealed that Jadon Sancho is having reservations about joining Manchester United due to the lack of Champions League football.
Manchester United won’t play Champions League football next season after they could only finish in sixth position at the end of the Premier League season.
