Hleb hopes to return to ‘club of my heart’ Emirates Stadium
Former Arsenal star Aleksander Hleb is already dreaming of a return to the Stamford Bridge but this time around, as an opponent in the coming Europa League.
This is after the skilful player re-joined the North London side’s Europa League round of 32 opponents BATE Borisov on 14 February before the return leg a week later.
Expressing his delight for penning a deal with the club, Aleksander Hleb noted that one major highlight of his new stay at the club will be facing his former side in the Europa League.
Aleksander Hleb made it clear that Arsenal is the club of his heart because of the good memories he had in his three years stay before joining Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona.
However, it has been a challenging career for Aleksander Hleb as he last had a home and enjoyed football at the Emirates Stadium.
He stressed that it would be a special feeling for him to file out at the Emirates Stadium again because of the good memories he had there.
Meanwhile, Aleksander Hleb made his plan clear as he wishes to join football management after his retirement with the hope that he can begin some coaching programmes even before he retires.
