Injury blow: Liverpool midfielder suffers back injury against Napoli

Liverpool midfielder, Naby Keita suffered a back injury in the first half of the UCL game against Napoli.

The Reds played against Napoli at the San Paolo stadium last night, where the Carlo Ancelloti Naples players made Liverpool players looked useless on the pitch.

To say the truth, the match was a big embarrassment and disappointment for Liverpool especially their trio strikers, who were all completely nullified by Napoli.

Irrespective of the loss, Liverpool are in another trouble, this comes after their key midfielder, Naby Keita suffered a back injury during the match.

Naby Keita started in the match against Napoli last night but in the 20th minutes of the game, he had to be replaced by Jordan Henderson.

The midfielder alerted medical staff of a back pain and he was rushed out of the pitch.

A new report made it known that Naby Keita was, later on, rushed to a local hospital when the pain got severe.

For now, no decision has been made on the status of the 23-year-old midfielder.

However, Liverpool have a lot of reasons to be worried, this is because Keita is likely to be absent when they face Man City on Sunday in the EPL.

Naby Keita joined Liverpool in the last summer transfer window.
