£57m Signing Keen To Prove Doubters Wrong

Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is desperate to prove doubters wrong due to the fact that his position in the Chelsea starting XI has been questioned by the fans in recent weeks.

In his recent interview monitored by popular media outlet Goal, Jorginho revealed that he’s keen to prove that he deserves a spot in the team.

Jorginho was recently booed by the Chelsea fans during the Europa League clash with Swedish club Malmo last week Thursday.

He came on as a second half substitute as Chelsea defeated Malmo 3-0 in the second leg of their last 32 tie to win 5-1 on aggregate.

Italian midfielder Jorginho is a victim of the new style introduced to Chelsea by manager Maurizio Sarri.

He signed for Chelsea last summer after the Blues beat Premier League champions Manchester City to his signature.

Chelsea splashed a whopping £57m to secure the transfer of the midfielder.

The pressure on Jorginho and Sarri has eased up a bit following the recent performances against Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur in the Carabao Cup and Premier League respectively.

Chelsea played out an impressive goalless draw with Manchester City in the Carabao Cup final before losing 4-3 on penalties.

They defeated Spurs 2-0 in their London Derby clash on Wednesday.
