Just in: Another surprise twist in Mourinho’s sack saga emerges

The earlier reports of Jose Mourinho’s sack by Manchester United board has taken a different turn as the embattled manager has been assured of his job, not minding the outcome of the game against Newcastle United.

The results coming from the Old Trafford has been disheartening for United fans and there were calls for Mourinho’s sack.

United have failed to win in their last four games and were eliminated from the Carabao Cup by Championship side Derby County

Expectations are that the Portuguese will be sacked at the end of the Newcastle encounter.

But latest reports from Manchester reveal that the United owners have assured the former Chelsea boss of his stay at the club even if he loses this weekend.

He has been assured of more time and handed more time to turn things around at the club.

The Red Devil’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward had earlier made his decision secrete on the matter with no reaction from him.

The pressure will now be eased on the manager and is expected to now be in full control, all thanks to pundits and former players to have called on the board not take the drastic decision against the self proclaimed ‘Special One’.
