Klopp Shuts Down Star Player Exit Rumours

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has shut down ongoing transfer rumours about the future of star forward Mohamed Salah.

There have been growing concerns about the future of Salah amongst the Reds fans after the Egyptian national team coach Javier Aguirre told the 26-year-old to leave the club in the event that Liverpool remains trophyless.

The Reds have not won any title since their League Cup triumph under the guidance of club legend Kenny Dalglish in 2012.

German tactician Klopp reacted to the statements credited to Aguirre during the international break while he was fielding questions from reporters during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of the Reds’ away league game with Watford at the Vicarage Road on Saturday evening.

According to the former Mainz 05 and Borussia Dortmund manager, Javier Aguirre can say whatever he wants to say with his mouth.

Egyptian national team talisman Mohamed Salah has been in sensational form since he joined Liverpool from Italian Serie A side AS Roma at the start of last season.

He went on to score 44 goals in 52 appearances for Liverpool as he helped the Reds reach the Champions League final before they were beaten 3-1 by the eventual champions Real Madrid.

Salah signed a new five-year deal in the summer to ward off rumoured interests from clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona.
