Liverpool Join Race For Talented Winger Hudson-Odoi

Five-time European champions Liverpool are the latest entrant into the list of clubs that are interested in a transfer for talented Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Sport Bild claim that the Reds have joined the race the England junior international.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is firmly focused on leaving Chelsea having found first team opportunities hard to come by under Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri since the start of the season.

The 18-year-old had a very good preseason and many fans were expecting him to figure heavily in the colours of the West London club but those expectations have not been met partly due to stubbornness on the part of the aforementioned Sarri.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has less than 18 months on his contract that’s scheduled to run out at the end of next season and the young English winger is not ready to sign an extension amidst strong interests from clubs like Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, and Liverpool.

Recent reports revealed that Hudson-Odoi will snub a new Chelsea contract worth £85,000 per week.

German champions Bayern Munich have already made four different bids for him including a final £35m bid which matches the asking price initially slapped on him by the Blues at the start of this winter transfer window.
