How Liverpool will line-up with Fabinho and Naby Keita next season

Fast summer moves
Merseyside club Liverpool have wasted no time in picking up the pieces from the club’s disappointing UEFA Champions League final loss to La Liga giants Real Madrid last May in Kiev, by confirming the signature of their first summer signing in the form of Brazil international midfielder Fabinho from French Ligue 1 side Monaco in a transfer deal which could be up to €50million.

The 24-year-old holding midfielder has since been joined by Guinean midfielder Naby Keita from Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, who last agreed to join the Anfield based club last summer for £48million.

Widespread speculations
Rumour is seriously mounting that the pair will be joined by France international midfielder Nabil Fekir, with reports emanating from France suggesting a £62million transfer deal to land the exciting playmaker to replace Brazil international attacking midfielder Philippe Coutinho has reportedly been agreed.

Should Nabil Fekir’s summer arrival be sealed as expected, the Reds will have made a bright start to the shortened summer window and made a fast start on their Premier League rivals in an attempt to improve on last term.

Next season tactics
But how will German tactician Jurgen Klopp’s new signings fit into his present team and which player will make way for the new intakes?

Here we look at how the manager will possibly lineup his team next year:

Simon Mignolet; Virgil van Dijk, Dejan Lovren, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andrew Robertson; Fabinho, Keita, Henderson; Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah
