Man city to cheat Man United in deal for Juventus star

Emerging reports claim that English Premier League champions Man City are on the verge of landing top Man United target and Juventus defender Joao Cancelo in this summer transfer window.

Man United have not made their interest in the defender hidden but from every indication, Man City could be faster than them in convincing the defender.

It is reported that the EPL title holders have been holding talks with the Serie A outfit over the defender and a deal could be sealed in coming weeks.

According to the reports, Man City have agreed to pay a fee of £44 million to land the star player and they are positive that he would be joining them any moment from now.

Joao Cancelo has not hidden his desire to play in the Premier League and earlier favored a move to Old Trafford but Goal reports that the right-back could be the first Man City signing as the Citizens are keen to part ways with Danilo.

This could be one of the problems that the Red Devils will be faced with for missing out of the Champions League, knowing that most players will only seek to play for clubs playing in the Champions League.
