Man United turn to this special former player for big role

English Premier League outfit Man United are reported to be considering former player Darren Fletcher as their new sporting director.

The Red Devils are hoping they can have Darren Fletcher who has worked with the club in the past and is already training in that capacity as they plan to engage in the coming summer transfer window.

The need for a recruitment structure can about before former manager Jose Mourinho was sacked by the Red Devils management as he had a rift with the club’s executive vice-chairman over the failure to sanction some of his transfer wish in the last summer transfer window.

Darren Fletcher is tipped to end professional football at the end of the season once his contract with Stock runs out and he will have no rest away than to come straight into helping his former side where he had spent 12 years to fill the new post.

It is suggested that Darren Fletcher will work with Mike Phelan should he agree on the deal as the Red Devils look forward to challenging next season.

This season for Man United did not start well and there are no encouragements for the fans about its ending as they lost again to Man City at the Old Trafford.
