Nicolò to cost Chelsea 45 million pounds !!

West London club , Chelsea have made a £45m (€50m) bid for highly rated Cagliari midfielder Nicolò Barella according to media reports emanating from Italy.

This was revealed by popular English media outlet Daily Express who claimed that the Blues have stepped up their interest in the player.

Nicolo Barella has been in very good form for his Cagliari team since he broke into the first team.

His form has been attracting the interests of several European heavyweights with reports claiming that clubs like Italian Serie A champions Juventus, Inter Milan as well as the London trio of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea want to sign the talented midfielder.

Nicolo Barella could be a direct replacement for experienced Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas.

Spanish international Fabregas is on his way out of the club to French Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco where he’s expected to link up with ex-Arsenal teammate Thierry Henry.

The Frenchman is the AS Monaco manager having been appointed in the last quarter of last year after Leonardo Jardim was dismissed due to his underwhelming start to this season while he was in charge.

Cesc Fabregas has been a wonderful player for the Blues since he joined the club from Barcelona in 2014.
