Poor form, Man United ask legends to stay away, report

Manchester United have reportedly asked their club legends to stay away from criticizing under-fire manager, Jose Mourinho following the unconvincing result of the side so far.

With three games played, the Mourinho side have won just one game, suffering two defeats, which prompted opinions and comments from past players.

There are also allegations of rift between the former Chelsea boss and players such as Anthony Martial, Luke Shaw and Paul Pogba, with the players not performing – making the situation more messier.

However, United’s board which seems not to be comfortable with some criticisms, urged their past players to be ‘careful’ when talking about the club in public, including the criticism of embattled Mourinho.

Man United are reported to have sent an e-mail to their ambassadors with a report in the Metro saying:

“United employ the likes of Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, Bryan Robson, Denis Irwin and Ji-sung Park in an ambassadorial capacity and all have been reminded of their obligations.”
