Premier League Title Is Not Over Until It’s Over – Klopp

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is certain that the Premier League title race is not over despite title rivals Manchester City’s ascent to the top of the table during the week.

In his pre-match press conference on Thursday ahead of the Premier League game with basement club Huddersfield Town on Friday night, Klopp told the pressmen that the title race is not over until its over.

Liverpool can secure the Premier League summit with a win over Huddersfield Town later on Friday.

The Reds were on top of the league before Wednesday night when Manchester City claimed the much-coveted position with their 2-0 win over Manchester United.

The Citizens were held to a goalless draw at the halftime interval by hosts Manchester United before things changed in the second half.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola subbed Leroy Sane for the injured Fernandinho and that proved to be the catalyst for the Citizens to go and get the win needed to secure top spot.

Bernardo Silva scored the opening goal for Manchester City before the aforementioned Sane added a second goal for his team.

Liverpool and Manchester City have three league games left to play this season.

Liverpool have to play Huddersfield Town, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers while Manchester City face Burnley, Leicester City and Brighton in the race for the league title.
