After spending 22 years with Arsenal and seeing about 1228 of the club’s games in a row, counting to over 110,000 minutes in all, former Arsenal manager now knows nothing about the happenings in the club.
The big attachment the Frenchman has with his former club is just not enough as he is yet to see any of Arsenal’s game this season.
This was revealed by Niall Moran, a 20-year-old Arsenal fan who had met the French manager on Monday night at the Best FIFA football awards and wanted to know his view on the club he had left.
According to Moran, Wenger said he has not watched any of the Arsenal games this season, adding that he cannot say anything about the new signings at the club because he knows nothing about them.
Giving reasons for staying away from Arsenal games, Wenger told the Arsenal fan that he has been busy travelling and painting.
The former Arsenal boss also told Moran that each time he spends in France was used to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather.
Wenger was meant to leave against his wish in the summer and was immediately replaced by Spanish manager who has already begun making his own impression at the club with 4 wins in 6 Premier League games and a perfect start at the Europa League.
