Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has performed a remarkable U-turn on his decision and he’s ready to sign a new contract at the club.
The latest development was confirmed by Goal who claimed that he has given his condition for a contract extension at Chelsea.
It was revealed that the young English winger wants assurances from Chelsea officials that he would be the man to replace the outgoing Eden Hazard at the club before he can sign a new contract.
German Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich tried to sign him during the winter transfer window but Chelsea held firm in their resolve to keep their Academy player at the club.
Bayern failed with several bids while the player also tried and failed to force through a move to the Bavarian giants via a transfer request.
The Germans are likely to come back with another bid this summer having failed with as much as five bids in January.
Other European sides like Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Manchester United have also been mentioned as his suitors.
Callum Hudson-Odoi is presently recuperating from a long-term injury sustained in April and he’s expected to be out until the last few months of the year with the season-ending injury.
