£54m deal that will ensure Sanchez quits United revealed

It has been revealed that Manchester United are making efforts to secure the signature of Brazilian and Juventus winger Douglas Costa ahead of the winter transfer window which reopens in coming weeks.

Reports according to The Sun reveal that the Red Devils are ready to submit a bid of about £54 million for the star winger as they wish to secure more additions to the team in the coming winter transfer window.

Douglas Costa’s arrival at the Old Trafford is expected to ensure the departure of Chile international Alexis Sanchez as there would be no space for the both in the club.

The former Arsenal player joined United in the last winter transfer window but all of the months have been very frustrating for him as things have not gone as planned.

The former Barcelona is also keen to quit as reports claim that he is pushing for a move with a number of top clubs already linked for his signature.

However, while Douglas Costa is tipped to join the Red Devils to score more goals, it is unsure if the United management is ready to pay a sum as big as £54 million for the former Bayern Munich player and they could just settle with the Alexis Sanchez if he performs under the new coach.
