The arrival of this player at Old Trafford will provide an escape route for £31m player

The arrival of Harry Maguire at Old Trafford will provide an escape route for Victor Lindelof.

Man United board and fans are not happy with their defender, Victor Lindelof following his poor performances for the Red Devils since arriving at Old Trafford from Benfica.

Last season, Lindelof made Man Utd lose in a game to Huddersfield and have put up other poor defensive error that have made Jose Mourinho sideline him.

In fact Mourinho prefers to use the duo of Eric Bailey and an ageing Ashley Young to  Lindelof.

With Macros Rojo on a possible move away from Man United, Victor Lindelof may be the next to join him.

The move will take place if Manchester United are able to sign Leicester City defender, Harry Maguire.

Jose Mourinho in a recent statement has disclosed he will sign at least one more player before the close of the transfer window.

It is however unsure who the one player will be as the Red Devils have been linked with different players which include, Toby, Willian, Maguire among others.

On the other hand, Victor Lindelof has been linked with the French club, Lyon as they have shown some interest in the player.

However, the Red Devils will not let him go for a transfer fee less than £31 million which they paid to Benfica before they signed him.
