Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea has revealed that the only thing that gets him confused about his Old Trafford side after saying he doesn’t know why.
The Spanish goalkeeper wonders why his side will have to wait to concede goals before they attack.
He made this claim in reaction to the two big comebacks his side have had this seasons against Newcastle and Chelsea where they came from goals down to win and level the game respectively.
According to him, the defensive department of the team are doing quite well but more is needed to be worked upon by the attack department because they have failed to live up to expectations.
De Gea admits that the Old Trafford side have had good performances this season but noted that the poor performances have been more obvious, noting that the team’s struggle still continues.
He hopes his side continue to work hard and change the negative narrative by coming out all wide to win games.
The former Atletico Madrid goalkeeper is not the first to make such claims about the club as French midfielder Paul Pogba had made such comment which attracted lashes from manager Jose Mourinho and pundits who feel he should not criticize the club in the public.
