Tottenham In £35m Bid To Sign 20-Year-Old Liverpool Midfield Target

Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a summer transfer for highly rated West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice according to latest reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.

The Daily Express claim that the aforementioned North London giants are preparing a £35m bid for Declan Rice who has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool.

The Reds are one of several clubs monitoring the development of Declan Rice at West Ham United.

The 20-year-old recently signed a contract extension with the Hammers until the end of the 2023/24 season after a lengthy contract standoff with the East London outfit.

Liverpool have identified him as a major transfer target ahead of the summer but they will have to face the threat of other interested clubs in England.

Tottenham Hotspur are also major contenders with reports claiming that the North Londoners see him as a replacement for Christian Eriksen if the Dane decides to leave the club this summer.

Apart from Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, Declan Rice has been linked with Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal.

Rice recently showed the Gunners what he can do when the utility defender scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over Arsenal in a league game played last month.
