United agree to send scout to watch 19-year-old defensive midfielder

Manchester United have finally agreed to take further steps for the signature of West Ham star Declan Rice by sending scouts to watch the player ahead of the coming winter transfer window.

Although, the young lad is currently dipped into contract talks with his owners with the hope that they can lure him to stay at the club but that will not stop the Red Devils from monitoring the player in case his negotiation with West Ham fails.

Declan Rice has been the name in the news for the past few weeks with the English Premier League big guns all scrambling for the signature of the 19-year-old.

However, United scout was present on the pitch when Manchester City thrashed Declan Rice’s West Ham in the Premier League clash at the weekend with suggestions that they are still convinced of his quality, not minding the result of the game.

Having risen to limelight in the English topflight, Declan Rice is rejecting a £20,000 per week offer from his employers with feelers that he deserves to earn more judging by his performance.

Declan Rice is a versatile midfielder who has got age on his side and has shown he is ready to play at the bigger stage.
