United to submit world record bid for EPL star

The latest report has revealed that the English Premier League outfit Man United are preparing a record bid for the signature of Leicester City defender Harry Maguire ahead of the coming summer transfer window.

The end of the season is not a good one for the Red Devils and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer owing to the poor performance of his team as they have won just two of their last 11 games across all competition.

However, an overhaul of the Man United squad has been hinted but the defence would be a major point of attention as it has been established that it is the weakest point in the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer team.

However, Harry Maguire has been identified as the main fit for the club and it is claimed that a huge bid would be submitted to the former English Premier League champions to have them release him.

Meanwhile, a report according to The Evening Standard claims that United’s executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward has given the nod for the signature of Harry Maguire and it is claimed that they are ready to pay higher than the £75 million Liverpool paid to Southampton for the signature of Netherland international Virgil Van Dijk.
