The Reds will take on the Foxes on Saturday at the King Power Stadium.

Liverpool FC so far have won their three matches, taking all 9 points in three games.

However, the real test for the Liverpool squad will come from the Foxes on Saturday.

Unlike other past football clubs, Leicester City will be a strong opponent especially with the latter playing from their home.

The only favourable side for Liverpool which is unfavourable for the Foxes is that Leicester top striker Jamie Vardy will not be playing in the match after the ban he earned during a match against Wolves.

Jurgen Klopp is likely to use the 4 – 3 – 3 football formation, which is his favourite.

Below are the Liverpool players likely to start against Leicester City

Goal Post: Alisson Becker is still strong and fit and as such he remains the Reds No 1 goalkeeper.

Defenders: the duo of Robertson and Alexander Arnold will play on the left and right back respectively, while the duo of Van Dijk and Gomez will play at the centre back.

Midfield:  Once again Fabinho will not start for Liverpool, the trio of Nabil Keita, Milner and Wijnaldum will start.

Attack: The super Liverpool trio attack still remains the same, they are Sadio Mane, Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino.
