Chelsea Target Talks Up Premier League Move

Juventus defender Alex Sandro has revealed his Premier League desire amidst transfer links to the English duo of Chelsea and Manchester United.

The 27-year-old talked about his dream to one day play in the Premier League in a recent interview with popular media outlet Goal.

The Brazilian international player also revealed that his immediate focus is with his Italian Serie A side.

Alex Sandro is widely regarded as one of the best left-backs on the world football stage.

He came close to joining Chelsea in the summer of 2017 before he decided to opt for a Juventus stay despite the fact that a £62m bid was on the table from the Blues.

Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte was keen to sign Alex Sandro to boost his options at left-back and also provide competition for first choice Marcos Alonso.

Juventus rejected the bid from Conte and Chelsea after the club had been hit with the departure of defensive players like Daniel Alves and Leonardo Bonucci.

Manchester United were linked with the 12-cap Brazilian international defender in the summer but nothing came out of it as the Red Devils made the decision to stick with current first choice Luke Shaw.

He has repaid that faith by being one of the best players in the Manchester United squad this season.
