English Premier League outfit Manchester United star defender Antonio Valencia has reacted to speculations that he is seeking a move away from the Old Trafford.

The speculations over Antonio Valencia’s United future surfaced after it was discovered that he is becoming more irrelevant in the interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer ’s team having gone down the pecking order.

Antonio Valencia is one of United’s oldest players as he joined from Wigan Athletic some 10 years ago with a deal of about £16 million.

So far, he has seen just one game under the former United player, the 2-0 victory over Newcastle United on January 2 but that is not an issue to him as he made it clear that he would not be leaving in this winter window.

However, Antonio Valencia will become a free player at the end of another 12 months coming should he not leave the club now or sign an extended deal.

Meanwhile, there are suggestions that Antonio Valencia will not be handed a new contract owing to his age factor and his decreasing impact in the team.

United are already lining younger players who could replace him and the coming summer window will be a good opportunity to sort it out for a replacement.
