Another £35m-rated goalkeeper emerge as De Gea’s replacement

The English Premier League outfit Man United are yet to resolve the uncertainty surrounding the future of Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea at the Old Trafford as he is yet to extend his stay at the club while his contract is already running out.

The Red Devils have already triggered the extra clause in De Gea’s contract to have him remain at the club for another year which is also running out and it calls for major concerns as the management are not willing to part ways with the former Atletico Madrid shot stopper.

It is therefore reported that the Man United team are already considering Ajax stopper Andre Onana as a replacement for David De Gea in the summer transfer window.

While it is yet to be seen if Ajax will seek to part ways with Andre Onana in the coming season, the Red Devils will give a trial in stepping forward with a £35 million offer after watching his impressive display in the Champions League this season.

It can be established that David De Gea is one of the best defenders in Europe today but Andre Onana has also proven to be at that level in his ability and is able to step into the shoes of the Spanish stopper and do a good job for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
