Arsenal have been hailed by former player Stewart Robson for their decision to let Wales international midfielder Aaron Ramsey leave the club at the end of the season.

The North London side have told the former Cardiff international that he will no longer be needed at the club and will be allowed to leave as a free player at the end of the season.

This is after the Emirates Stadium side failed to agree on a personal term deal with Ramsey as he is currently seeing the end of his contract with the club.

A lot of reactions have trailed the decision of the club with some claiming that the North London side have made the mistake to have allowed Ramsey leave the club but that will not be accepted by former Gunners ace Robson who backed the club’s decision.

Robson blasted Ramsey for not involving himself in defending each time his side loses the ball despite having a good pace which has helped him score goals.

According to him, the defensive aspect of the Arsenal team has been the problem and Ramsey has contributed to that reason because he never fights for the team.

However, a number of clubs have been linked to the Wales international but latest reports hint that he could be on his way to Bayern Munich.
