Arsenal hero tells Emery the players he must sign in summer

Arsenal manager Unai Emery has been told by the club’s former player Perry Groves the kind of player he must buy in the summer transfer window.

The North London outfit do not look like a team with great depth at the moment. It was even more glaring when they faced their London counterparts Chelsea in the Europa League finals.

The issue was why they failed to finish in the top four to secure qualification to the Champions League.

However, Perry Groves says he is aware of the fact that the Spanish manager will only have about 40 million Euros to engage in the summer transfer window but stressed the need to secure quality players.

According to him, the money may not be enough but it can also secure quality players with great character, noting that that has been missing in the Arsenal team for many years.

Perry Groves also recommended the signing of Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser while he urged manager Unai Emery to move in for the likes of the two centre-halves at Brighton, Lewis Dunk and Duffy, noting that they have both got the heart and character to play for Arsenal and succeed at the club than the players currently at the Emirates Stadium.
