Alex Telles

Arsenal boss Unai Emery has identifies Porto defender Alex Telles as an ideal replacement for Nacho Monreal and he is bent on making a move in the coming winter transfer window if the report from Portugal is anything to go by.

It is reported that Spanish left full-back could be on his way away out from the club and his departure might spell doom for the North London side which makes his mandatory for a replacement to be signed soon.

Alex Telles has had a good season with his impressive display. He has got similarities with Monreal at the left back and the fact that he is younger makes it a good deal for the Spanish manager.

Although, Sead Kolasinac remains an Arsenal player but with the injuries he has had, it has been established that he cannot be relied upon as there is a need for a back-up for him.

Alex Telles joined Porto from Galatasaray in 2016. He is one of the few defenders who can boast of goals in a season, not forgetting that he scored 4 goals in 37 appearances last season for his side.

However, the Brazilian has got a release clause within the region of £30 million but the North London side will have to be very convincing to be able to have him move in the January window.
