Toby Alderweireld

Arsenal are reported to be preparing a bid to land their North London rivals Tottenham of defender Toby Alderweireld ahead of the coming summer transfer window.

Toby Alderweireld is already being linked away from Tottenham and he is reported to be pushing a move away from the club as he is no longer comfortable.

He has been linked with a move to Man United since the last summer transfer window with former Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho keen on his signature before he was sacked by the club in December last year.

It is now reported that the Gunners are ready to move in for the star player as they are ready to pay the sum of £25 million for his signature.

Unai Emery is keen to add more additions to the team and has identified a defender as one of the players need to be at the club to strengthen his team ahead the coming season.

Toby Alderweireld will, therefore, be available for a move this season as he is already 30 and would want to have another experience before his career folds up.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are not alone in the race for his signature as other top European guns are also keen on him.
