Arsenal to swoop for Barcelona star

North London outfit Arsenal are looking to swoop for the signature of Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona star Andrea Gomes in the summer transfer window.

Andrea Gomes was away from the camp Nuo all through the 2018/19 season to Merseyside outfit Everton and he has given a good account of himself by delivering impressive performance in the 27 Premier League games that were handed to him.

However, it has been reported that the Gunners team will face big competition from their North London rivals Tottenham as they are also keen on Andrea Gomes ahead of the summer window.

Reports in Spain have hinted that a return for the playmaker is very unlikely but Andrea Gomes will have a big decision to make as he has receives a number of offers from clubs in the English league, knowing that Everton will also seek to land him as well.

Andrea Gomes has been tipped to have the quality to fill the gap that would be created with the absence of Wales international Aaron Ramsey who is already on his way to the Italian Serie A champions Juventus ahead of the coming season.

Meanwhile, the fee for Andrea Gomes is yet to be discussed as Arsenal will await the outcome of the Europa League finals.
