Arsenal to swoop in for Fedor Chalov

English Premier League outfit Arsenal are reportedly ready to swoop for CSKA Moscow forward Fedor Chalov in this summer transfer window.

The report claims that the North London outfit are monitoring the situation with the player after learning that a number of top European teams are also jostling for his signature.

The performance of Fedor Chalov in the just-concluded season has been hailed by a number of pundits and that has certified him fit to play at the top level with Arsenal and in the English Premier League.

But the Gunners will have to be smart to win the competition from AS Monaco and Sevilla for the fast striker who scored 15 goals and provided seven assists in 30 appearances for his team.

Arsenal are set to part ways with England international Danny Welbeck and that makes Fedor Chalov important as a replacement for him.

The fee for the 21-year-old is also not mentioned in the report but it has been claimed that it would be affordable for the Gunners as they have already made some inquiries.

Howbeit, the Gunners must strengthen their team in this summer transfer window if they must challenge for titles this season and that will be well determined with the number of quality players bought.
