Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi has been boosted by the words of legendary player, Robert Pires.

The Frenchman had expressed his delight with Arsenal’s late 2-0 win against Watford in the Premier League encounter and he thinks Iwobi should be hailed.

Arsenal have now recorded seven consecutive wins this season and are now fifth on the league table.

The latest win was never in sight until the Nigerian international had replaced Aaron Ramsey with 30 minutes to the end of the game and did the magic with his crosses.

Pires said he had told the Super Eagles player that he was the difference in the game, describing Iwobi as a great player.

According to the Arsenal legend, Iwobi knows how to hand solutions to difficult games with his vision and his strong mental spirit.

He made it clear that the lad has a good future with Arsenal.

The Gunners are enjoying life under new manager Unai Emery with results coming in the direction that pleases them and the 22-year-old admits that the Spanish manager has had a lot of impact on him and the entire team.

Iwobi disclosed that he has been encouraged by the former PSG boss to keep working and be less critical.
