Barcelona swoop in to hijack Arsenal £40m-rated target

Pablo Fornals

It has been suggested that Arsenal will have to work hard to secure the signing of Villarreal star Pablo Fornals who is now reported to be wanted by Spanish giants Barcelona.

Pablo Fornals has been on the wanted list of the North London side for a while with speculations that he could make his way to the Emirates in the coming weeks when the transfer window reopens knowing that he is being admired by manager Unai Emery.

The coming of the Spanish La Liga star will also help to reduce the fears of losing star player Aaron Ramsey who is believed to be on his way from the Emirates Stadium when his contract expires at the end of the month.

However, Marca reports that the Gunners will not have Pablo Fornals that easy as Barcelona are ready to hijack the deal having shown interest in the player.

Although, Pablo Fornals’ owners have claimed that they will not do any business in the coming winter transfer window as they are not ready to part ways with the star player.

With a release clause of about £40 million, the suitors must be willing to break the bank if they must convince Villarreal into releasing the player.
