Big boost for United ahead of Barcelona clash

Man United were able to secure a magical qualification to the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champion League after a stunning defeat of French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint German.

The Red Devils had lost the first leg of the round of 16 at the Old Trafford by 2-0, yet they secured qualification to the next round with a 3-1 win at the French capital.

They have therefore been drawn against Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona which promises to be a big test for interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with suggestions that he might not be able to fly past owing to his recent form.

However, an emerging report claims that the Barcelona attack might be lacking the usual force as Uruguay international Luis Suarez is doubted for the first leg of the quarterfinals encounter.

It is claimed that Luis Suarez will undergo tests on a sprained ankle on Monday, weeks before the first leg which makes him a major doubt for the game.

The Red Devils will host Barcelona in the first leg at the Old Trafford on April 10 before travelling to Spain for the second leg.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils still have Argentina international Lionel Messi to contend with as he is currently in fine form.
