Young Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi impressed a great deal on the occasion of his first start for the England national team.

The 18-year-old was a constant thorn in the flesh of Montenegro in their Euro 2020 qualifier with Montenegro on Monday night.

He had earlier made his England debut in the first Euro 2020 qualifier for the Three Lions.

Callum Hudson-Odoi came on as a second-half substitute for hat-trick hero Raheem Sterling as England thrashed Czech Republic 5-0 in their first game of the qualifiers.

The Chelsea winger was given a start and he repaid the faith from England manager Gareth Southgate by providing the second goal for Chelsea teammate on 39 minutes.

Marko Vesovic had earlier given the hosts the lead in Podgorica before Michael Keane equalised for England on the half-hour mark.

Ross Barkley added a third goal in the second half before Harry Kane and Raheem Sterling scored in the final 20 minutes of the game to give England a convincing win over Montenegro.

England were able to maintain their perfect start to the qualifiers with two wins from two games.

They have opened a four-point gap at the top of the table with the thumping win over Montenegro.

England have six points from two games ahead of Bulgaria (2 points) in second place.
