Ex-Chelsea Boss Plotting James Rodriguez Transfer At Napoli

Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti is pushing for a move for Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez during this summer’s transfer window.

This is according to the latest reports coming out of the Italian media.

It was revealed that former Chelsea manager Ancelotti is keen to reunite with James Rodriguez at Napoli.

Carlo Ancelotti worked with James Rodriguez for one season while they were both at Real Madrid.

James Rodriguez sealed a big money move to Real Madrid shortly after the 2014 FIFA World Cup tournament in Brazil while Carlo Ancelotti was the manager.

The Italian tactician had just won the La Decima (10th European title) for Real Madrid but the following season was a disappointing one for Ancelotti and that ultimately led to his dismissal.

James Rodriguez joined Real Madrid for £63m and the Colombian played under Carlo Ancelotti for just one season before his sack.

The Colombian international player could leave Real Madrid for Napoli this summer according to popular Italian news outlet Calciomercato.

It was revealed that the Real Madrid outcast is wanted by his former manager at Real Madrid.

James Rodriguez is presently with the Colombian team ahead of the 2019 COPA America.

He has spent the last two seasons on loan at German champions Bayern Munich who failed to take up the option of signing him for just £36m.
